florentine biscuit

Hey there ! As promised, i will share to you the florentine biscuit recipe.... I actually don't even know about this but as the eid season past, my kom asked me to try to do it as she wants to eat moreeeeeee ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ so i try to bake it while i enjoy my mid semester break... so all the ingredients is ready for me as my mom buy it earlier without i know about it, but she said it cost her about RM50 for all the ingredients.. but not more than RM50 and i think it's worth coz if u buy it outside, it will cost u more bcz this kind of biscuit is pricey due to the ingredients' price.. so let begin.....
So here is the ingredients needed :

  • 200 gram Florentine flour
  • 100 gram sunflower seeds
  • 100 gram almond flake
  • 100 gram pumpkin seeds
  • 30 gram black sesame seeds
  • Baking paper

So the step is easy.. you only need to mix all the ingredients together in one bowl...

Mix untill perfectly combined

And you can put it on the tray that has been covered by baking paper...
*But for my case, i don't have any baking paper left, so, instead of baking paper, i use aluminium foil* but you need to know that if you're using aluminium foil, it's a bit hard to take the biscuit out because it's a bit sticky.
You can also use small aluminium foil Cup *it's easier to take it out from the cup better than aluminium foil in the tray*
And it will become like this

So the steps to do it is :
Step 1 : mix all the ingredients (florenFlor flour, all the seeds or peanut, etc)
Step 2 : cover your tray with baking paper
Step 3 : put the mixture into the tray *but it's recommend to only put a thin layer of mixture because it will become crunchy and easy to eat*
Step 4 : bake on 180°© for 15-20 minutes or untill golden brown
Step 5 : if u are using a big tray, u need to cut it into small pieces while it still hot because it still soft and easy to cut as it will become hard.

So here is the video that may help you to understand more about the steps : https://youtu.be/mbFXiXxAei4

So enjoy ! Goodnight ๐Ÿ˜‰ don't forget to try this recipe and save your money ! ๐Ÿ˜˜

caramel pudding

hi ! so... since i'm having my mid semester break, my mom requested for caramel pudding.. you guys can't imagine how easy it is to bake caramel pudding. i hope with this sharing, you guys can have a try to make it.

so here what you need :

*ingredients*
5 large eggs
Half a cup sugar
2 cups of milk (1 cup = 250ml)
1 tbspn Vanilla essence
5 tbspn sugar (sugar for caramelizing)

*instructions*

Set aside all the ingredients and pan ready.
step 1 : First, you have to prepare the caramel for this pudding. For that heat the sugar for caramelizing (5 tbsp) in a sauce pan over a medium low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Once it starts caramelizing, do not stir. Just swirl the pan. Do not make it too dark as it will taste bitter.  When it reaches a nice golden color, remove from flame. *tips* i use non stick pan to make it easier..

step 2: Pour the prepared caramel into the pan.Swirl the pan well to coat the base of the pan evenly.

Let it set aside and while you make the custard.

Step 3: For the custard - Add eggs and sugar in a blender. Blend for a minute. Then add milk to it and again blend well. Strain it into a bowl (for the perfect smooth texture). Pour this mixture into the prepared caramel pans.

Step 4 : cover the pans with aluminium foils before put into steamer.

Step 5 : pre-heat the streamer and steam the caramel pudding for about 30 minutes in medium low heat.

step 6 : Once done, let it cool and then refrigerate it for 5 hours or preferably overnight.

Take it out from the refrigerator, carefully run a knife along the sides of the pan.

Place a plate over the pan, then slowly turn it upside down.
so... here is the result :) i hope u guys can have a try to bake this caramel pudding. and to let u guys know, this is my mom's favorite dessert ever... she never forget to ask me to bake it for her every time i come back from my college. so... see yaaa ! wait for the next recipe :*
